In January 2002, the company proudly announced that Ms. Machanic acquired full ownership of the company. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, with strong ties to the community, Ms. Machanic has been instrumental in New Target's strong growth and success during the past four years. An entrepreneur with a background in marketing, she also brings international perspective from her experiences as founder of Travel Russia, Inc. and co-founder of Service Adventures, Inc., both operating in the former Soviet Union during the early 1990s. Much of New Target's success can be attributed not only to the company's creative and technical expertise, but also to Ms. Machanic's ability to build lasting relationships with a diverse client base. Her vision for New Target was quoted in the announcement of her new position within the company: The New Target name has become synonymous with outstanding customer service and excellence; we will remain totally customer-driven.
